Little Hands, Big hands

A Parent - Child workshop

Little Hands, Big Hands
Is a Summer Day to Remember

Most days move quickly.
School, work, errands, screens.

This is a few hours set aside.
Just you and your child.

Working with your hands.
Making something from scratch.

Figuring things out as you go.

It won’t be perfect.
That’s not the point.

You’ll take home something you made together.
And the time you spent making it.

In this session, you and your child will create a Sunflower Lamp.

The base is made from Teak wood, shaped and finished by hand.
The lampshade is folded using origami, forming a flower-like structure that glows when lit.

We’ve designed this as a simple, functional object that your child can place in their room and use every day.

This is a hands-on woodworking session designed for children.

You’ll work side by side with your child through the process:

Measuring and marking

Cutting and shaping wood

Sanding and refining

Assembling the lamp base

Creating the origami lampshade

Your child will be encouraged to do the work.
You’ll be there to guide and support when needed.

Who is this for

Children aged 6 to 12 years

Accompanied by one parent

No prior experience required
