Shailna & Anish went to design school and caught the bug of making early on while studying Architecture. They had the privilege of a basic woodshed on college campus to tinker with the material without being worried about the outcome. Fast forward to 2018, when it was time to invest in the studio, they were faced with an overwhelming number of questions regarding wood, tools, vendors, planning tool purchase under a limited budget, and very little information available out there. At first, they started with a few tools, stumbled, made mistakes, and kept learning through the years.

They experimented a lot! It was fun to accumulate tools and shape wood in various ways. Through consistent practice they learnt wood joinery, safe use of power tools, whittling, relief, and spoon carving. It is safe to say, they understand the material and are very excited to share the knowledge and pass on the skill to future woodworkers through these curated workshops and courses.
